Note:

The detailed examples for each principle, exercises for the teacher and mini-lessons for the class are written in the book.

Self empowering

As teachers, we are used to increasing demands with every passing year. This situation often lead to stress and emotional exhaustion. One of the ways to empower ourselves is to recharge ourselves physically and mentally.

It is important to remember that in order to maintain our physical and mental health we must balance our professional and personal lives.

managing emotions

Sometimes while preparing for a lesson, we have a clear picture in mind of how things should be. However, things don't always work out as we have planned. This can result in feelings of frustration and disappointment.

Why Your Critics Aren't The Ones Who Count

effective conversation

During our work as teachers, we give and receive feedback whether it is  from colleagues, parents or students. In order to communicate effectively we have to assume that a person in front of us has a positive intention in mind.

Many times, we judge others according to their behavior and ourselves according to our intent. I try to see the intent of the others in front of me and remind myself of the purpose of the conversation.

Building Strong Relationships

self motivation

Motivation is the personal will of each of us. Motivation directs us to acheive our goals and fulfill our dreams.

Many times we do not have the strength or self confidence to realize our dreams. Listening to a motivational speech is one way to restore the belief in ourselves.
